Hultgren helps form new science caucus
WASHINGTON – An Illinois congressman is helping form a new political caucus to encourage federal investment in research and national laboratories.
U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren will join three other members of congress as co-chairmen of the House Science and National Labs Caucus.
Hultgren’s district includes parts of McHenry County and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia.
The Winfield Republican said in a statement Friday the reach of national laboratories can be seen in all sectors of the economy.
