Fox Valley Internal Medicine has joined Centegra Physician Care.

The 10 Fox Valley Internal Medicine physicians and more than 25 staff members boost the number of CPC physicians to 103, plus 25 mid-level practitioners at 10 practice locations.

Fox Valley Internal Medicine has offices at 650 Dakota St., Crystal Lake, and 1465 Commerce Drive, Algonquin.

“Fox Valley Internal Medicine ... is a highly successful and well-respected medical practice,” said Jason Sciarro, Centegra Health System president and chief operating officer, in a press release. “Its physicians and associates put great emphasis on quality of care, patient relations, and community contributions.

“We are thrilled to welcome the FVIM physicians and associates to our Centegra famil,” Sciarro said. This exciting collaboration allows us to provide expanded opportunities and convenient access points of clinical excellence to even more residents of McHenry County and northern Kane County.”

“As part of our efforts to advance to the next level of patient satisfaction and quality health care, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with Centegra Health System,” said Dr. George Urban of Fox Valley Internal Medicine.

Dr. Tom Salvi of Fox Valley Internal Medicine added, “Our affiliation with Centegra allows us to join a health system committed to meeting the needs of the residents of McHenry County. Our association with Centegra will allow us to provide better continuity of care and enhanced access to local state-of-the-art services.”

According to Sciarro, this integration allows both groups additional access to capital, technology, physician and employment talent.

“It is a further demonstration of Centegra’s continued commitment to providing access to high-quality healthcare, from wellness and prevention all the way to home care, for all the residents of our community,” Sciarro said.
