Horrendous rhetoric

Re: “Campaign of demonization” by Mr. James C. Zoes (It’s Your Write, Dec. 3).

Sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me!

The one thing I’ve observed from everyone who is now considered a Socialist Democrat is: You must agree with everything they say or you become the enemy. They refuse to engage in any intelligent conversation. For the most part, they do not have any knowledge of what is happening. They only understand name-calling they repeat from the media.

It escapes me, and my friends, as to why they have taken on this horrendous rhetoric. It is so very sad. The emotions behind all this name-calling and trashing is more frightening.

This president has managed to divide this country as I have never seen it divided before in my long lifetime. He is adamant to get his way, and that’s the bottom line. He cares about his agenda and that’s it! Four more years, four more years ...

The gloating does become unbearable. This is a great country, and we will overcome!
