Petitions available for Spring Grove election

SPRING GROVE – Three Spring Grove village trustees and the village president will be up for re-election in April.

To get on the April 9 ballot, candidates need to collect enough signatures and submit paperwork by 5 p.m. Dec. 26. Nominating petitions are available at the Village Hall, 7401 Meyer Road, Spring Grove.

The incumbents – Village President Mark Eisenberg and Trustees Mike Lee, Pat Mazzanti and Bob McMahon – all will run for re-election. The terms for Spring Grove’s three other trustees expire in April 2015.

Petitions will be accepted beginning Monday.

Village Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days. It will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 24, closed Dec. 25 and open an extra hour, until 5 p.m., Dec. 26.

The last day to file objections to a nominating petition is Jan. 3.
