Riley Township sets filing period for candidates
MARENGO – The Riley Township Clerk's Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday to accept the filing of candidate petitions or certificates for the Consolidated Election on April 9.
The clerk's office also will be open from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20, with the last time slot to file from 4:45 to 5 p.m. Dec. 26.
The offices of supervisor, road commissioner, clerk, assessor and four trustee posts will be decided in the election.
