Trustee given court supervision
WOODSTOCK – A Huntley trustee has been ordered to one year of court supervision for an incident at a local bar.
Nick Hanson, a trustee since April 2011, had been charged with criminal trespass and harassment through electronic communication. On Tuesday, he agreed to an amended charge of attempted disorderly conduct and a settlement of court supervision and a $50 fine.
Jeff Lovell, owner of Parkside Pub on East Main Street in Huntley, said Hanson was unwanted at the restaurant and was told about a year ago not to come in.
But Hanson returned twice, and police were called in April.
Hanson said there was a misunderstanding stemming from personal relationships. He once called police on Lovell related to an incident near Hanson’s home.
Hanson’s term expires in May 2015.
