D-158 working to fill board vacancy

HUNTLEY – The District 158 board has opened its search to fill the void left by former board President Michael Skala.

President Don Drzal said the board will select someone who lives within the district boundaries to finish Skala’s term, which ends in March.

Skala resigned to start serving on the McHenry County Board.

Potential candidates need to have lived in the district for at least a year, be at least 18 years old and be a registered county voter.

To be considered, submit a cover letter, résumé and three references to the district, 650 Academic Drive, Algonquin, by Jan. 7.

For information, call Naomi Fettes at 847-659-6158, ext. 6103, or visit the district’s website, www.district158.org.
