Huntley student football players give gifts
HUNTLEY – Students from the Huntley High School football program this week donated more than 200 gifts to area children whose families use the Grafton Food Pantry.
The student athletes visited the pantry Sunday to wrap, prepare and deliver the gifts to infants, children and teenagers. The gifts included toys, hats, scarves, sweatshirts and 50 Red Raiders football jerseys.
The pantry merged with the Faith Community Church pantry this fall and serves about 400 low-income families a month in the Huntley area.
