As the chamber closes out 2012 embracing with enthusiasm 2013, our hope is to increase the relevancy of this chamber to its membership. Often heard is that the McHenry Area Chamber is an incredible connector offering programs and activities that help businesses meet clients. We are grateful for that goodwill but the chamber staff is very aware that some of our members stay on the fringe neglecting to let us help their business grow.
We are all busy, but chamber membership must be considered as an investment expecting a rate of return. Like any investment – such as marriage, health or fitness club – the chamber needs action on the part of the member for a successful investment. That is why the chamber staff is calling annually each of its 700 members encouraging engagement. If you are not involved please contact us. Together we can determine ways the chamber can aid in the achievement of your organizational goals.
