Sheriff’s office to host snowmobile safety courses

WOODSTOCK – The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office will host two Illinois Department of Natural Resources snowmobile safety certification courses from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 12 and Feb. 23.

Both are open to children 12 years or older and to those who do not have a valid driver’s license.

Those who do not have a valid driver’s license need a certificate to legally operate a snowmobile in Illinois.
