McHENRY – For the past three years, SleepOut for Shelter has helped raise awareness and much-needed funds for homeless services through McHenry County PADS, a program of Pioneer Center for Human Services.

This year, the event will reach beyond McHenry County through a partnership with PADS Lake County.

“As the number of homeless families and individuals continues to escalate, PADS Lake County is placing greater emphasis on raising communitywide awareness and understanding about the devastating effects and pervasiveness of homelessness in Lake County,” said Sari Rubin, director of development for PADS Lake County.
