The Sunnyside Tavern, 4206 N. Johnsburg Rd, Johnsburg, is sponsoring a meat raffle to benefit Collier House, Sunday, Dec. 16. The raffle tickets go on sale at 1 p.m. The raffle starts at 3:30 p.m. The raffle includes turkeys, hams and prime cuts of beef, all cut at a local shop Saturday.
Christmas cookies will also be raffled. Please join me if you are not otherwise involved in the Bears game, cookie swap, Christmas party or other holiday committment.
