Gift of blood
To the Editor:
I would like to thank all of the wonderful people who donate blood. Last year, my husband, Don, was diagnosed with meylodisplastic syndrone, where the bone marrow no longer makes blood.
From last December until his death in October, he had gotten 47 units of blood plus some units of platelets.
