Helping ‘Super Fan’

To the Editor:

For Prairie Ridge High School Class of 2012, Anthony “Moose” Mustari was known as “The Super Fan.” He supported our school with his enthusiasm, energy and magnetic personality. Now it is our turn to be Moose’s super fans – and what better way to honor him than a day of fun and games!

You see, shortly after graduation, Moose was diagnosed with leukemia. Now our super fan could use a little support from us. This is our chance to honor that super fan and pay it forward.

The Miracles for Moose fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Leafs Ice Centre in West Dundee. You can enjoy the Silver Leafs Synchro Skating Team, an exciting hockey game, and free open skating for all. After that, you can attend a lunch and silent auction raffle at Sponsors Bar and Grill in Huntley. Attend as much or as little of the day as you choose but please come and be a super fan for our friend.

All proceeds from the event will help the Mustari family of Crystal Lake as they tackle a mountain of medical bills. The holidays will be waning, and the new year will be days away.

Your gift to Moose and his family will start their new year with a lot of hope for the future.

Please call me at 815-715-6692 or e-mail for information. You can send gifts directly to Miracles for Moose, IEN# 46-07548567, c/o Chase Bank, 550 Crystal Pointe Drive, Crystal Lake.
