Officials: Huntley gun rumor 'non-credible'

HUNTLEY ­­– Huntley High School will have an increased police presence during school Friday after officials learned about a rumored “non-credible” gun threat, according to the district’s website.



Superintendent John Burkey and Principal Dave Johnson wrote Wednesday evening that the administration and Huntley police have been thoroughly investigating the rumor of a gun being brought to the school Friday.



As a precaution, the school will have an increased police presence.
