Slawek: Goodbye 2012; 2013, here we come!

Have a safe and happy holiday season. Enjoy time with your family and friends and light a candle for those who are no longer with us.

I have so many things to be thankful for and having the opportunity to work with the Huntley Area Chamber members is certainly one of them. Looking back at the seven-plus years I have been president /CEO for our chamber, I have always been proud of how we work together as a family.

It has been a busy 2012. Our chairman of the board, Dave Veath, has cleaned roads, cold called in the rain, rang bells, worn Santa hats, contacted current and past members and so much more – all to make our chamber stronger. Our chamber has prospered from his leadership and dedication.

We will continue to be a strong chamber because of the members that make up our chamber family and a community that supports them. I look forward to another successful year together.
