Moose’s spirits

To the Editor:

A picture is worth 1,000 words, so the saying goes. For Anthony “Moose” Mustari, this has never been more true. Anthony is recovering from a bone marrow transplant so he can’t hang with his friends, attend the Prairie Ridge basketball and hockey games that he loves, and he won’t even be able to attend Christmas parties with friends and families.

For now, pictures are the highlights of Moose’s day, and luckily friends and family send lots!

On Saturday, Dec. 29, we will be taking lots of pictures for Moose, and we hope you will come and be a part of the picture. The more the merrier, and that means more merry pictures to keep Moose’s spirits high.

The Miracles for Moose fundraiser will be held on Saturday at the Leafs Ice Centre in West Dundee. You will enjoy the Silver Leafs Synchro Skating Team, an exciting hockey game and free open skating for all. Later that day, enjoy a lunch and silent auction raffle at Sponsors Bar and Grill in Huntley. Attend as much or as little of the day as you choose, but please come and be sure we take your picture so Moose will know you care.

Please call 815-715-6692 or email HaileyMKenny@gmail.com for information. Gifts can be sent directly to Miracles for Moose, IEN# 46-07548567, c/o Chase Bank, 550 Crystal Pointe Drive, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
