To the Editor:
The answer is obvious ... life has no value.
That’s right, why should anyone be surprised at the mass murders now taking place at malls, theaters and schools throughout our country. When you, yes you, as a society have embraced the culture of death and given the seal of approval from the highest court in the U.S. and the most powerful head of state in the world, why should anyone be surprised that life has become dispensable and worthless!
You see, when you arbitrarily embraced abortion, you were justifying this atrocity as an inconvenience of eliminating a blob of tissue that had no name, no emotional attachment, an object of no relevance.
But now, with Sandy Hook’s murderous act, you have names of small innocent sons and daughters who have been loved and nurtured and then tragically had their lives demonically ended. These innocent children were filled with hopes, dreams and aspirations of their parents for their future and that of our country. This was no different than the butcher’s cutting block in an abortion mill.
Sounds cruel, violent ... it is, although the tools used were different instruments to bring life to an end.
Until this society of ours stops putting a death sentence on the unborn and realizes that the genocide that continues to be perpetuated by this willful act, it will consume us like a cancer until we no longer continue to exist.
Life or death ... the choice is yours.
