The chamber invites you to join our Women’s Network Group for a complimentary meeting. The group meets from 8 to 9 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Shores of Turtle Creek, 7908 Winn Road, Spring Grove.
The Women’s Network Group is a dynamic group of business women who are motivated to promote business in our communities. At the next meeting Jan. 9, we will be presenting a $1,647 donation to the Centegra Breast Center. These funds were raised with a Purse Raffle and the efforts of the ladies in the Women's Networking Group. Thank you all!

We will be hosting our first luncheon in the new year at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 17 at Papa Saverio's Pizzeria, 5600 Kenosha St., Richmond. Meet new and old business contacts while enjoying a great spread. On Jan. 26 we will be holding our 20th Anniversary Dinner at the 31 North Banquet and Conference Center in McHenry. We invite all to have a wonderful time indulging in great food in casual elegance. Enjoy socializing and networking with fellow chamber members, nonmembers, and colleagues, meet our 2013 Board of Directors, and enjoy music and dancing. Tickets are $35. Music will be by The Thompson Duo and we will be offering a cash bar for the evening of celebrating. The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m. Join us for fun and prizes! Our chamber will offer a "Business After 5" for those who can't take the time off from their busy day to attend our luncheons. These networking meetings are similar to our luncheons and draw a new crowd. We are scheduled to meet at Chef Davito's Steakhouse & Italian Restaurant, 4000 N. Johnsburg Road, Johnsburg, from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 12. A buffet-style dinner will include soft drinks, coffee, and hot tea.

Mark your calendar to attend our Health, Home and Business Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9 at the Nippersink Middle School in Richmond. This year we will have a variety of businesses that will be promoting the products and services they have to offer. Along with our local businesses, we will be holding a more interactive Expo, with demonstrations, arts & crafts vendors, and raffles. Come discover what our area businesses can do for you. Remember, shopping local supports the community you live in. If you are interested in having a display in our Expo, contact the chamber office or our website for further details.
