Infested with extremists
To the Editor:
I am the secretary for Marengo School District 165 union. I am appalled at the NRA’s advocacy of armed guards at every school in America. The NRA leadership is infested with extremists who are not open to any rational ideas or solutions. It used to be a good organization. What kind of message does it send to our children?
No one could have stopped the Sandy Hook tragedy. We only can ensure that our schools will be safe with involved parents, children, administrators and teachers.
