The Beatles tribute band American English will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake.

Genealogist to visit Cary library for talk

"Organizing You Ancestors" will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Cary Area Public Library, 1606 Three Oaks Road.

Professional genealogist Ann Wells will discuss ways to organize one's family history papers, documents and photographs.

Marengo library to show 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green'

A Saturday Matinee event will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Marengo-Union Library, 200 S. State St., Marengo.

The 2012 comedy/drama "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," rated PG, stars Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton. In the film, a young boy magically appears to a childless couple and changes their lives.

Movie snacks will be provided, and no registration is required.

A "Sunday Movies @ Your Library" event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the McHenry Public Library, 809 N. Front St.

The library will show "Hope Springs," which is rated PG-13 and stars Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones.

The event is for those 18 and older. No registration is required.
