Scarves for Sandy Hook

To the Editor:

Calling all fiber artists! A way to help Sandy Hook: Jeanne Malgioglio is a Monroe, Conn., resident who initiated an effort to knit scarves for Newtown residents with the “Scarves for Sandy Hook” project. Please go to Scarves for Sandy Hook on Facebook and join this event.

Jeanne is trying to collect 600 handmade scarves by Jan. 15 to give to all the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School. She needs our help! Grab your needles, hooks, looms ... the only requirements are that the scarves be kelly green and white, the school colors, and that they be for children.
