'The Wilder Life' author to speak at Opera House

WOODSTOCK – Wendy McClure, author of "The Wilder Life," is a self-described crazed fan of the “Little House” series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

She will tell the story of her journey following Wilder’s footsteps through that lost world at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 the Woodstock Opera House.

Tickets cost $24 and may be bought through the box office at 815-338-5300.

The program is part of the Creative Living Series sponsored by the Woodstock Fine Arts Association, now in its 49th season.

Attendees are invited for coffee and conversation beginning at 9 a.m. at the Stage Left Café next to the Opera House.
