Woodstock-based Family Alliance issued the following news release on Wednesday:
WOODSTOCK – Family Alliance, Inc. received a 3-year Commission Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) certification for the following programs: Case Management/Services Coordination, Day Treatment, Outpatient Treatment, Adult Day Services, and Dementia Care Specialty Program.
CARF is an independent organization that accredits several types of specialized services. The CARF evaluation process required Family Alliance to demonstrate high quality, measurability, and accountability in programs, business practices, and services. Brian Boon, CARF President/CEO stated, “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.”
Family Alliance is a not-for-profit organization founded 30 years ago as a program enabling mature adults to remain at home and active in their community.
