2nd man admits role in southern Ill. pot-growing

BENTON, Ill. — A southern Illinois man faces up to 40 years in federal prison now that he has acknowledged his role in growing more than 100 marijuana plants.

Thirty-six-year-old Paul Reynolds of Ridgeway pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Benton to conspiracy and marijuana-production charges.

A co-defendant, 39-year-old Daniel Fulkerson, pleaded guilty to the charges last month and is scheduled to be sentenced April 11, two weeks before Reynolds' sentencing hearing.
