WOODSTOCK – The popular monthly Dynamic Living Series resumes at 7 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Northwest Healthcare Center, 800 E. South St. in Woodstock with “Five Tips for Healthy Eating and Weight Loss for the New Year.”

“This time of year many of us make resolutions to try to drop a few pounds and adopt a healthier lifestyle,” said Clinic Director Dr. James Kearns. “Our staff will help answer your concerns and questions in order to create a new you.”

Chiropractor Dr. Luke Smith will be discussing the revolutionary “Wheat Belly” diet, which turns the USDA Food Pyramid Guidelines upside down. "If you've been on diet after diet over the years with little or no success, learn what cutting-edge science is finding out about how what you eat affects your physiology in ways that sabotage all your hard work and best intentions,” Smith said.
 
Dr. Kearns will separate myth from fact as they relate to how diet and exercise change the metabolism.
 
Staff reflexologist Emilee Bozic will demonstrate referral points on the soles of the feet to increase over all well being and complement a diet and exercise regime.
