Woodstock PD cracks down on stop sign violators

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

The Woodstock Police Department will focus on stop sign violators during its January special traffic enforcement initiative.

The initiative focuses on preventing traffic crashes from dangerous driving – in this case, failure to make a complete stop or yield the right-of-way. The initiative also seeks to encourage drivers to comply with traffic laws.

For more information about the January initiative or traffic enforcement in general, contact Sergeant Dennis Leard at 815-338-2131 or dleard@woodstockil.gov.
