Diabetes patients to share experiences

HUNTLEY – Nearly 26 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes.

For too many Americans, diabetes is thought of as a minor hindrance rather than the life-changing disease that it is. Centegra Health System is working through support groups to raise awareness of diabetes and the people it affects.

Diabetes patients will share testimonials, tips and tricks Jan. 31 on getting motivated to exercise at Centegra Health Center – Huntley. The diabetes support group meets quarterly to support anyone with diabetes and their family members.
