Freight train derails in north Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. — A freight train has derailed in Decatur, causing six rail cars to topple down a steep embankment close to a roadway.

No injuries were reported in the derailment, which occurred Sunday night in a northern part of the city.

Firefighters say the six derailed Canadian National cars were carrying soybean oil and limestone.
