LAKE IN THE HILLS – The Lake in the Hills Sportsmans Club will host its 28th annual ice-fishing derby Feb. 9.

Every year, there is a raffle after the derby to raise funds for the club and improve the community. In the past, the club has sponsored or donated funds to the police department, fire department, Toys for Tots, Fox Valley children and the construction of the Indian Trail Beach pavilion.

The club is seeking sponsors to provide cash prizes, gift certificates or merchandise. Sponsors will be posted on the club’s website, www.lithsportsmansclub.com.
