Man gets 5 years for burglary
WOODSTOCK – A man on parole when Fox River police arrested him for an attempted break-in has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Zachary C. White, 30, of Elk Grove Village, pleaded guilty Thursday to residential burglary, a Class 1 felony, as part of a plea deal accepted by Judge Sharon Prather.
Police were called to a home on Bradbury Court at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 21 for a report of a man trying to get into a home through the garage. White fled. He later was found in the area and arrested after a brief foot chase, police said.
