Chicago expands homework help to more libraries
CHICAGO — Students will soon be able to get free help with their homework at any of Chicago's neighborhood libraries.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Thursday the city is expanding its Teacher in a Library program to all neighborhood branches.
The city is partnering with local universities to bring undergraduate education students into 21 additional locations. The teachers -in-training will be available to help students with homework after school.
