WAUKEGAN, Ill. — A 32-year-old man and his 51-year-old mother have both pleaded not guilty to drug-induced homicide charges in the death of an Ingleside man.
The News Sun reports that Brian Stedronsky entered his plea on Thursday.
Lake County Judge Christopher Stride says Stedronsky faces six to 30 years in prison, if he's convicted. His mother, Carolyn Stedronsky, pleaded not guilty to the same charges on Tuesday.
Authorities contend the son bought Fentanyl patches from his mother and then sold them to 30-year-old Jeffrey Ferris, who died of an overdose in September. Fentanyl is a synthetic opiate used to treat patients with severe pain.
