Community involvement

To the Editor:

After more than 30 years of running Iron Mike’s Excavating and a lifetime of community involvement, I am announcing my Republican candidacy for Nunda Township highway commissioner.

I’m excited to run for highway commissioner in order to help lower taxes. I have spent my life working hard with the people of this community and hope to represent them soon.

I believe I can:

• Bring fiscal responsibility to the highway department.

• Eliminate unethical spending.

• And work closely with all township staff.

I am a husband and father of three, a fourth-generation Eagle Scout, owner of Iron Mike’s Excavating, youth athletics coach and donor. I also was heavily involved with Hurricane Katrina relief work, and am involved with my church.
