SAN DIEGO – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Sarah Lara-Toney and Laurent Quenaud, both of San Diego.

She is the daughter of David and Debby Lara-Toney of Palm Springs, Calif. He is the son of Michel and Karen Quenaud of Crystal Lake.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Palm Springs High School in Palm Springs, Calif., a 2006 graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in medieval studies and a 2008 graduate of San Diego State University with a master’s degree in 18th century U.S. history and religion. She is a development and communications manager for Walden Family Services in San Diego.
