Bears hire Trestman to be next head coach
The Chicago Bears announced early Wednesday that Marc Trestman has been hired as the Bears next head coach.
ESPN reported on Wednesday morning that the Bears have hired Aaron Kromer, former Saints interim coach, to be their offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
Trestman, 57, has 17 years of NFL experience but spent the past five seasons as the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. He will be introduced at a news conference at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Bears said.
