Horse rescue to host visitors on Jan. 27

MARENGO – Destination Safe Haven Horse Rescue and Retirement will host its fourth annual Cookies and Cocoa event from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 27 at the farm, 1404 Busse Road, Marengo.

The public can meet the animals, take a tour and help support a local horse rescue.

Participants should dress for the weather.
