LAKE IN THE HILLS – Staff members at Martin Elementary School are extending an offer for adults to become partners in education as reading volunteers.

“We’re looking for adults, other than current Martin parents, to read on a weekly basis with our third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students,” Assistant Principal Matt Webster said in a news release. “Volunteers are welcome between 9 and 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., and 1 to 2 p.m.”

Reading volunteers will assist individual students and small groups using reading activities provided by teachers.
