Be prepared

To the Editor:

After experiencing a home break-in and burglary, and after the hassle to get everything together for the insurance company and police, I came up with this idea.

Take a photo of all your valuable possessions, tools, electronics, etc., then have the photos made into 4-by-6-inch prints. On the back side of the prints, write down the make-model-serial number-and /or size, cost and purchase date. Then put the pictures in a safe deposit box or safe.
