Man injured after crash on Route 12
RICHMOND – Two vehicles collided head-on Wednesday in nearly the same location as a fatal crash last month.
About 4:58 p.m. crews were called to Route 12, just south of Hill Road. The driver of a minivan, a 71-year-old unidentified man, whose car was in the middle of the road, had to be extricated from his vehicle. Airbags deployed in the van, and the man was wearing his seat belt, Richmond Township Fire Protection District Chief Rick Gallas said.
“We had an accident on [Dec. 23] in almost the exact same place, this was maybe about 200 feet to the south,” the fire chief said.
