State Rep. Mike Tryon issued the following news release:
CRYSTAL LAKE – State Rep. Mike Tryon (R-Crystal Lake) has announced that his legislative office has moved to a central location in his new legislative district.
The move took place on Wednesday, January 16, and Internet and phone service will be fully functional by Tuesday, January 22. Email and phone messages are being checked regularly.
The new office address will be 1500 Carlemont Drive, Suite D, off of Randall Road, between Ackman and Village Roads, in the Randall North Business Center.
“While I will continue to represent some residents from Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills and Huntley, my new district will also now include residents from the northern Kane County communities of East and West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts, Carpentersville and Elgin,” he said. “I believe this new location off of Randall Road near the Crystal Lake/Lake in the Hills border will provide easy access for all of my constituents.”
Office hours beginning January 22 will be 8:30 am to 4:3 0pm, and the office phone number will remain (815) 459-6453. Constituents may continue to email Rep. Tryon at email@example.com, but the legislative web site has changed towww.michaeltryon66.com.
Based on 2010 Census data, legislative boundary lines were changed for all House and Senate districts. Tryon, who represented District 64 since his election to the Illinois House in 2004, now represents District 66, which includes all or a portion of ten communities in southern McHenry County and Northern Kane County. Under the new map he will be “nested” with State Rep. Tim Schmitz (R-Geneva), within Illinois Senate District 33, held by Senator Karen McConnaughay (R-St. Charles).
