Coroner identifies Woodstock crash victims

WOODSTOCK – Two Harvard residents died Sunday after a vehicle crashed into a bridge pylon along Route 14 in Woodstock, police said.

The residents have been identified as Summers Cooper Jr. and Edith Eddy, according to the McHenry County Coroner's Office. Preliminary autopsies were scheduled for today.

At 1:57 p.m., Woodstock police and fire departments responded to a single-vehicle crash along Route 14, underneath the South Street Bridge, said Woodstock police Sgt. Dennis Leard.
