Class act
To the Editor:
Occasionally, I go with my friend to signings, where she gets jerseys, footballs and such signed by professional athletes. Too often, the athlete seems less than happy to be there. However, recently we went to Sports-4-Less in McHenry where Charles “Peanut” Tillman was doing a signing. He smiled, goofed around a bit with the kids, and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
What a class act! Thanks, Peanut and Sports-4-Less, for bringing this nice guy to town.
