Coffee with the Chief set for Feb. 11

A speaker at February's Coffee with the Chief will address how to handle the extreme cold and other adverse weather conditions.

The monthly event hosted by the Chief Robert Lowen at the Woodstock Police Department, 656 Lake Ave., Woodstock, brings a new topic to the table for discussion each month. This month, Robert Ellsworth, Jr., Mchenry County Emergency Management Agency Assisistant Director, will present on emergency planning and weather preparedness.

The police department will provide coffee at the event, which is set for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11.
