McHenry County home sales up 25 percent
McHenry County home sales ended 2012 up 25.8 percent compared to December 2011.
The median sales price for all properties in McHenry County dropped 0.7 percent, from $140,000 to $139,000, while the inventory of homes for sale fell 30 percent, from 2,903 to 2,033.
According to the Illinois Association of Realtors, the days on market until sale also fell, from 111 to 106 days.
