Restored faith

To the Editor:

On Jan. 11, after placing my purchases at Walmart into my car, I inadvertently left my purse in the shopping cart and merrily drove off for home. Upon arrival, I discovered that I had neglected to pick up my purse.

I immediately returned to Walmart and contacted customer service to find that my purse had been brought in by a lady who declined to provide her name. Everything was intact – no “tip” removed for herself or any missing cards.
