Three arrested on drug charges

Three men were arrested in unincorporated Crystal Lake in a drug investigation, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday.

On Jan. 18, officers executed a search warrant at 7512 Hemlock St. in Crystal Lake and arrested Martin M. Dunn, Joseph M. Munts and Angel De Jesus Marin on multiple drug charges.

Deputies seized an estimated $17,000 in drugs – about 1,710 grams of marijuana, two ecstasy pills and two cannabis sativa plants, plus a digital scale, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and about $4,000 in cash, authorities said.

Dunn, 27, of Crystal Lake, and Munts, 26, of 1022 Clay St., face charges of possession of cannabis, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and production of cannabis sativa plants. Dunn also is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

De Jesus Marin, 26, town unknown, faces charges of possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
