Man whose body was found in field froze to death

GRAYSLAKE, Ill. (AP) — The death of a Lake County man whose body was found near Campbell Airport near Grayslake was caused by exposure to the cold.

Lake County Coroner Thomas Rudd says it was also determined that alcohol contributed to the death of 20-year-old Joey Frase (FRAH'see) after tests revealed he had a blood alcohol reading of .09, just above the legal limit for driving of .08. Officials say he froze to death.

Rudd says Frase apparently walked to the field where his body was discovered Tuesday. Rudd says Wednesday's autopsy revealed no signs of foul play.
