To the Editor:

Since moving to Nunda Township more than 13 years ago, a disappointing discovery was the “good ol’ boys” mentality in township politics, where a few control most aspects of township government, along with large amounts of cash.

A bona-fide member of this dubious club is Highway Commissioner Don Kopsell, who spends our tax levy like it’s his annual lottery winnings. While our property values were falling over the past four years, Kopsell raised the levy in order to keep his excessive spending habits.
