HEBRON – District 19 has set dates for kindergarten registration and preschool screenings.

Kindergarten registration will be at 4 p.m. Feb. 6. Parents of children who will enroll in the 2013-14 class should bring their child’s birth certificate and proof of residency to Alden-Hebron Elementary School, 11915 Price Road, Hebron. Preschool screenings are set for March 22 at the school.

Screening results are the main factor considered for entry into the fall preschool program. The screenings – open to 3- and 4-year-olds – evaluate speech and language development, social development, motor development and concepts. The McHenry County Health Department administers vision and hearing tests.
